[W]hen we launch in a territory the Bittorrent traffic drops as the Netflix traffic grows. So I think people do want a great experience and they want access – people are mostly honest. The best way to combat piracy isn’t legislatively or criminally but by giving good options. One of the side effects of growth of content is an expectation to have access to it. You can’t use the internet as a marketing vehicle and then not as a delivery vehicle.

Look, someone who gets it.

Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you. Same thing goes for pirated music where legit services such as Spotify are made available.
And because it bears repeating, Ted Sarandos’ most key words of wisdom:
You can’t use the internet as a marketing vehicle and then not as a delivery vehicle.
You can’t use the internet as a marketing vehicle and then not as a delivery vehicle.
You can’t use the internet as a marketing vehicle and then not as a delivery vehicle.

Historical photographs held in their modern location. Wow, tragically beautiful.

Tippi Benjamine Okanti Degré, daughter of French wildlife photographers Alain Degré and Sylvie Robert, was born in Namibia. During her childhood she befriended many wild animals, including a 28-year old elephant called Abu and a leopard nicknamed J&B. She was embraced by the Bushmen and the Himba tribespeople of the Kalahari, who taught her how to survive on roots and berries, as well as how to speak their language.

This makes no sense.. .hes still mortal. Plus the books teach us that death is the next great adventure and that there are worse things like living forever (voldemort) and joanne would never doom harry to an immortal life after the negative connotations connected with it. (Horcruxes, philosophers stones).

…is that a brother and sister?
Because
Ew.
I’ve been staring at this for a hot minute
I realize I’m supposed to be grossed out
I’m supposed to be freaked at the possibility of an adult brother touching an adult sister’s breasts
because breasts touching where I’m from is supposed to be inherently sexual
but I’m not grossed out
if neither of them think of this intimacy as sexual than nothing is weird here
and honestly, none of us would freak if they’re positions were reversed
I guess I’m saying maybe our reactions to these pictures says more about us than them
^ this is a really good point and I need to get over being weirded out by this.
Although this a bit of a case of infantilization.
